These cars are the ninth and tenth in a limited edition series of 40' Dominion Refrigerator Express cars. The first eight cars depicted breweries in various Canadian provinces and territories. These cars honour the Esquimalt & Nanaimo Railway, located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The railway was formerly leased by Canadian Pacific Railway, later partially owned and leased by Rail America and is now operated by Southern Railway of Vancouver Island.
